TRI AMSTERDAM moved to October 2
In about two months TRI AMSTERDAM will take place. Fortunately, we still have some time to change some things, because we had to decide to move the event to October 2. This means TRI AMSTERDAM will be held one day earlier than originally planned.
With the rescheduling of the race – from Sunday, October 3 to Saturday, October 2 – the registration for TRI AMSTERDAM also shifts. This registration will take place on Friday, October 1. Last-minute registration is also possible on Saturday, October 2, just before the race. Otherwise, the program remains unchanged; start times will be the same as in the original schedule. This means that the Middle Distance will start at 8:00 am on Saturday, October 2, while the Olympic Distance will start at 10:00 am on the same day.
“Of course we are disappointed in that we have to move our race one day, but several circumstances have forced us to make this decision,” explains Jefry Visser on behalf of organizer TRI HARD Series. “The main reason is that Ajax plays a home game on October 3 and that would mean that we cannot stick to our current race course. That race course is so cool, so we do not want to make any concessions on this. We’re just going to make it a great day of racing on Saturday, October 2 – together – and enjoy TRI AMSTERDAM.”
